*Ms. Judy Elaine Lake (Suky), daughter of the late, James Burr Lake and Kathleen Metts Lake.  She was predeceased by her sisters: Beverly Joyce Thurston and Sharon Yvonne Little. She is survived by her nephews, Rolando Smith and his son, Bryan Williams; Steve Little and his children, Lyric, Kayla, Steve, Jr., Jasmine, Malcolm, Marquis and Shayla; John Little and his children, Aaron, London and Sean; and brother Peter Suber.     11/1/1950-12/23/2011.

*Mr. Lawrence Kevin Tadlock, son of Francis (Frank) Tadlock and Doloris  Herbert Tadlock.  He was the father of sons,  Elijah, Shaquille, Shalik, Tyre and Tydell and one daughter, Toya.  And he was the father of four grandchildren.  His siblings are: Stephanie Tadlock Harrell and Andre and Eric Tadlock.  12/28/1063-3/4/2012.

*Ms. Toni T. Lake,    On Saturday, April 7, 2012. Beloved wife of Andrew W. Lake; devoted mother of Sabrina Lake, Zandra Thompson, Andrita Jackson, Edward (Amber), Kenneth (Lavonne), and Marcus (Danielle) Lake; sister of Ruth Brown, Katherine and Andrew (Elaine) Thomas. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a special niece, Keisha Brown; a special friend, Charmaine Youmans and a host of other relatives and friends.

*Ms. Patricia Lynn Herbert  daughter of the late, Roy Herbert and Shirlee H. Miles.  She was the mother of: Tamara and Taneisha; five sisters: Roxanne-Herbert-Brown (Willie), Denise Herbert Tate (George), Kimberly, Shirlee (Mousie), Sheila, Royce, Tamika H. Quoa (Humphrey) and Tiffany. 5/15/1955-6/1/2013.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Rory Herbert. 

*Mrs. Mildred Ann Davis daughter of the late, Bessie and Roscoe Lake, Sr.  She was proceeded  in death by her husband, Wiley Davis, granddaughter, Ashley Whatley and grandson, Matthew Davis.  She was the mother of daughters: Jacqueline Davis, Karen Davis, Crystal Whatley; sons: Terryl (Theresa) Davis, Reginald Davis, Rodney (Lynette) Davis, sister Victoria (Lendyburgh) Talley and  brother James (Loretta) Lake.  1/29/1937-6/1/2013.

*Mrs. Jannie M. Wilson Griffin daughter of James and Inez Wilson.  She leaves to cherish her memory her son; Wilson Scarborough; brothers: Theodore Wilson (Betty); Raymond J. *Mrs. Sarah Felecia Strawder Herbert daughter of the late, Willie Heyward Strawder and the late, Margaret Alice Shumate Strawder.  She was the wife of the late, Willie Edward Herbert and the mother of the late, Edwina Felecia Herbert and beloved sons Darrell L. Herbert, Heyward E. Herbert and daughter, Janice D. Herbert. She was a sister of  Marjorie Walker and Helen Y. Anderson; James Strader, David R. Strawder,  and brother-in-law, John R. Herbert (Mary Frances) and to  the late,  John W. Strawder, Artis Strawder and Bobby C. Strawder and sister, the late Ruth A Jones.  7/31/1936-9/20/2013. 

*Mr. Ephraim “Mutt” Lake, Jr. son of the late,  Ephraim and Rose (Hill) Lake.  He was the husband of Katie B. Lake and father of three sons: Carl Lake Sr. (Bernice Lake), Ephraim III (Annabelle Gary) and Jed Zachary (Elouise Williams). He was the brother of Rosemary Lake Culbreath and Doris Lake Walker.  9/14/1930 – 12/8/2013.

*Mr. Raymond Lake, Sr.  son of the late, George B and Carrie Ann Lake, Sr.  His siblings who proceeded him in death are his brothers: Asbury, Oliver, George, Jr. James B, Charles, Forest (Pig) and Henry Earl Lake.  He was the husband of the late, Sallie Mae Yeargin Lake and father of: one son, Raymond Lake Jr.  (Rima); three daughters: Jenella (Eddie) Dean, Brenda (Lonnie) Boyce and Nadia Lake.  One sister, Margaree Lake  Burdine, two sister in laws: Mary Ann Lake and Frances Lake.  4/23/1928-4/12/2014.

*Captain Roy Benjamin Herbert, son of The Late Raymond Herbert, Sr. and The Late Elease James Jackson.  He is the father of one son, Jowan and one grandson, Jerimiah.  He is the brother of The Late Raymond Herbert, Jr.; four sisters: Lynn, Lisa, LaVerne and Tracey.  His grandparents are The Late Lucretia Herbert Haley and The Late Morris Haley and great-grandparents are The Late Bessie Lake Herbert and The Late Fletcher Herbert.  2/19/1960-5/5/2014. 

*Mr. Morris Haley, son of The Late Tuck Haley and Janie Culbreth Haley.  He was the husband of Luecretia Herbert Haley and was survived by his children: Essie May Carter and Patricia H. Hawkins; he was preceded in death by children: Janie Mae Benjamin, Virginia H. Stuart, Marion H. Fitts, Jeanette H. Foreman, Bessie H. Henry, Morris Haley and Raymond Herbert.  8/1/1912 – 5/10/2014.

*Mr. Raymond E. Cain, Sr., son of The Late Marie Cain.  He was preceded in death by his son, Raymond E. *Mrs. Beatrice L. Beatty, born in Laurens, SC; wife of Robert Beatty, Sr., moved from Spartanburg, SC to Philadelphia, PA. She was the mother of 10 children: 5 boys and 5 girls.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sons” Robert Beatty, Jr., Reggie Beatty, Emmanuel Beatty and Rick Joey Beatty; daughters: Fay A. Davis, Lola Winnie Beatty and Joett Nelly Beatty.  She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Michael Beatty; two daughters Renee Beatty and Rosalind Della Crockett. 10/18/1923-11/11/2017.

*Ms. Janice Karima Muhammad, born in San Antonio, TX; daughter of Mr. Samuel Hairston and the late, Virginia Stuart; granddaughter of the late, Lucretia Herbert Haley and Morris Haley; great-granddaughter of the late, Bessie Lake Herbert and Fletcher Herbert. She was the mother of four daughters: Jameelah, Fajr, Saliyma and Amirah; one son, Ibrahim and a bonus son, Ihsann. Her Ex-husband, children’s father was, Zul-quarnian Muhammad.  She was a sister of  Juanita, Joanie (Abena), Jacqueline, Robin and brother, Samuel Hairston, III).  9/21/1956-12/28/2017.
