
Todd Johnson attends The Avalon School where he carries a 3.9 GPA; he is an aspiring student athlete. Todd plays Varsity Football & Basketball, for varsity basketball Todd plays shooting guard. In one crucial game Todd scored a buzzer beater that won the game and set the team up to get a high seed in the end of year tournament which they won. Todd also played varsity football where he made First Team All-Conference. Todd played wide receiver and outside linebacker, Todd averaged 6 open field tackles and numerous assists. Todd will be a graduating senior the year and we are looking forward to him duplicating or surpassing his accomplishment of the past year both academically and athletically. Todd attended Hampton University for 5 weeks this summer in an Advanced Preparatory Course.
Tracy Johnson is the youngest son of Tracey and Raymond Wilson II. Tracy attends The Avalon School Where he is a good student and a flourishing athlete. Tracy plays Jr. Varsity and Varsity Basketball where he was a force to be reckoned with. As a part of the JV team Tracy averaged 20 to 25 point per game, 2 rebounds, 4.5 steals, 5 assists which lead the JV Team to a 13 – 1 record one of the best seasons ever. Tracy also played on the Varsity team were he had limited playing time as a freshman but he shine when he played. Tracy participated in two home study courses for English Literature from Montgomery Community College where his aunt, Dr. Miller Newman is an Administrator.
Todd and Tracy Johnson are the children of Raymond & Tracey Wilson II. The boys very busy during the school year. The family resides in Temple Hills, MD

Photos above are of Helen Lake celebrating her Retirement with her family while vacationing on the beach in Virginia near the home of their daughter, Angela. Helen is happy to say that she retired from full time work on July 1, 2010 after many years of employment as a Legal Secretary/Administrative Assistant. She said she truly enjoyed the celebration/ vacation with her husband, Willie Lake, and their children and grandchildren.

Ralph (Cubby) Herbert, Jr. -reports that his daughter, Amy Elizabeth Herbert will soon be a mother. She is expecting in February and is looking forward to the Blessed Event. Son- Aaron Herbert. is doing well – living in his own apartment and has his own car. He is continuing his education in Virginia. And son, Andrew Herbert is still enrolled at Tidewater Community College. He is thinking about the possibility of joining the U.S. Navy next year. Proud father, Ralph, Jr. is happy to still be working and is enjoying life.

Jocelyn Haley turned 16 on September 27, 2010.
Jocelyn had her first performance at the High School for Creative and Performing Arts in the Fall of 2009 and it was a stellar success. Her skill and ability has grown tremendously since she started her new school last year. During this past summer she had her first staring roll both acting and signing in a musical play called the 12th Day which addressed the issues of Troubled Teen Obesity.



Today, September 14, 2010, Melissa Haley will be moved into her Dorm for her start in College life at Drexel University to major in a Degree in Fashion Design. She has won several awards this year including $1000 for her Art and Scholastic Achievements. Melissa has excelled in music, Art and in her academics and graduated in he top 3% of her class at Girls High. She is on a full four year full scholarship after graduating High School with High Honors. We are very proud of her to say the least.
