^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE FROM TAMIKA QUOA

BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE FROM TAMIKA QUOA

“For so long I’ve always thought that fathers were cheated on Father’s Day, while there is so much hoopla when it comes to Mother’s Day.  It was not until March 14, 2012 I was given the title “mom” and my life changed forever.  One never knows what that title entails until you actually become a mom. Without ever really thinking about it, I soon realized how much I would need to give of myself, my time, and my love to this little person.  As much as my husband helps when he is home, I am ALWAYS on duty. I soon realized that as a stay at home mom, you NEVER get a day off.  At times it has been scary, challenging and yet enjoyable all at the same time. With that being said, I fully over stand why mothers are celebrated in such high honor!  So I’d like say THANK YOU to my mother, my sisters, aunts, cousins and mother figures who have raised their own children and sacrificed time to partake in raising me.  I have been blessed to have so many mothers in my life and now my daughter Taylor Zene Quoa is also blessed to have me and all of you.”

WHAT MAKES A DAD

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,

The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it … Dad

++++++++++++++HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY+++++++++++

M-O-T-H-E-R
“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old,
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,
“H” is for her heart of purest gold;
“E” is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
“R” means right, and right she’ll always be,
Put them all together, they spell “MOTHER,”
A word that means the world to me.

God could not be in every place
With loving hands to help erase
The teardrops from each baby’s face,
And so He thought of mother.

He could not send us here alone
And leave us to a fate unknown;
Without providing for His own,
The outstretched arms of mother.

God could not watch us night and day
And kneel beside our crib to pray,
Or kiss our little aches away;
And so He sent us mother.

And when our childhood days began,
He simply could not take command.
That’s why He placed our tiny hand
Securely into mother’s.

The days of youth slipped quickly by,
Life’s sun rose higher in the sky.
Full grown were we, yet ever nigh
To love us still, was mother.

And when life’s span of years shall end,
I know that God will gladly send,
To welcome home her child again,
That ever-faithful mother.

–George W. Wiseman

WE REMEMBER OUR MOTHERS THIS MOTHER’S DAY WHO ARE WITH US NOW AND THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED ON.  WE THANK THEM FOR THE LOVE AND THE CARE THEY HAVE GIVEN US; FOR THEIR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE WHICH CAN NEVER BE REPLACED.  THANK GOD FOR MOTHERS!

WLH Website Administration Updates

: RECENT UPDATE TO THE WEBSITE FAMILY DIRECTORY PAGE :

The family directory page should be more user friendly and allow members quick and easy access to profile information to all members to build family relationships.

Hello Family,

I wanted to let you all know how wonderful and blessed I feel to be part of such a well connected and organized family and heritage. As I read through the posts and review our family’s history I can’t help but to know who I am and where I come from. Identity is so important to us as a race and as a family. Our children present today and for generations to come will look and read and realize they are not just a random event, but a purposed and powerful human being and that they are part of a great force on earth (our Family) that they are loved and that they are not alone. By God’s Grace and Divine purpose he created us in his image and made us as one family and one heritage to impact each other and those around us for the good of all. That is the intended purpose for this website/newsletter.

Thank you all for sharing your life stories, photos, videos and events and making this website something that will impact our family and only strengthen us for years to come to be an even greater force of family and love for many years to come.

I only ask one thing for each of us to do as members of this website, newsletter and as a family member.

As you take the time to visit the site frequently:

Please visit your profile page and update it with all of your information and add or email us your favorite photo of you or your family to complete the profile:

1. Complete the First and Last name fields.
2. Complete the bio section by telling us about yourself and family.
3. email Mary Herbert your photo or family portrait to add to your profile.
4. Visit the Family Directory page and get to know other members in our family locally and abroad
5. * Please be encouraged to leave positive and inspiring comments often to post that impact you and your household
6. Your comments and posts will become apart of your profile and allow you to connect with others. * To view sample Profile pages to see how comments will be displayed and linked visit Mary Herbert’s or Devin Haley’s profile display in the Family Directory .

Please be generous with your time and efforts in completing your profiles and sending in your profile photos. We really want this to be a complete directory and great tool for the family to learn, grow and love together on each other.

Please be blessed and keep God First in all things.
