Dara reports she graduated in June from George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science with a 3.7 GPA. She was a member of the National Beta Club, the National Honor Society and received a Merit Award for Academics and a Citizenship Award. In addition, she received a scholarship from the Prince Hall Masons (Uncle Ralph’s Masonic Organization), and from the Awbury Arboretum for her volunteer work, and an Academic Scholarship from Tuskegee University.
She started Tuskegee on August 26 where she is pursuing a degree in biology and pre-med. She said she really is enjoying herself and the work is not too hard, yet. She likes meeting new people from everywhere.
