Duke Ellington was considered in the history of Jazz Music to be the most important musician, composer and band leader of this time which lasted over 50 years.

This piece, ‘Diminuendo and Crescendo in Blue’ was performed in 1956 at the Newport Jazz Festival in Newport Rhode Island and was recorded in 1957. It is long but it’s one of the most swinging sessions I ever heard.  So plug your earphones in to get the true sound, tap your feet, bob your head and enjoy the music!   Hope you enjoy the music while you read your Newsletter!
